Reporting Concerns

If you are concerned about a child's welfare or worried they are being abused, you can make a referral to Childrensfrrontdoor@n-somerset.gov.ukor Dutyintake@n-somerset.gov.uk

Any contact made to Children’s Services will be recorded and reviewed by the Front Door. The Front Door respond to any initial contact from a professional or resident of North Somerset who is concerned about a child.

You can contact Children’s Services through Care Connect. Care Connect is North Somerset Children’s Services single point of access. Your contact will be recorded by Care Connect, reviewed by the Front Door, and you will receive a response with 48 hours.

Out of hours calls will be automatically directed to an out of hours team who will redirect you to an appropriate out of hours service.
